This is what Ivan Mihailov, CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce announced on the air of Euronews Bulgaria regarding political instability in our country and the early parliamentary vote in June. "A lot of wrong signals are being given to investors,", he also said.
"We have not had significant recent investments to change this trend. We are in a very competitive environment. One Romania, for example, is a strategic partner, while Bulgaria hesitates. Our country's policy towards our American partners is not very clear", Mihailov gave an example.
In his words, Bulgarian business is again "struggling" to attract investments - "Europe itself is not competitive".
"It would be very unpleasant if we go back when the whole world is moving forward,", Mihailov believes.
