Controller from city transport in Plovdiv was attacked by an aggressive driver, the driver dropped off the passengers. The incident took place on bus line 21 today at noon, reported Bulgaria ON AIR.
The check was for the sale of old or unregulated tickets by the driver due to the frequent violations in recent months, as well as for not stopping at bus stops.
According to the controller, she was thrown out of the bus, and the passengers got off the bus screaming by the driver himself. The intervention of the police and traffic police authorities was necessary.
The aggressive driver ended up with three violations so far and an incomplete driving record.
"The driver was very arrogant, he asked me who I was, he insulted us," said the victim.
