A mass fight took place in a disco with clubs and iron bars. The action ended with four victims who sought emergency help, bTV reported.
The incident happened at 2 am on Sunday in the village of Bulgarian Spring, Teteven municipality, Lovech district. The victims are between the ages of 18 and 26 from different settlements in the area.
The victims said that shortly after 2 a.m. on Sunday, when they were paying their bill, they were attacked by a group of men brought by the mayor of the village of Galata, Mladen Mladenov.
„The incident happened between 2 and 3 o'clock, the owner of the establishment came to pay the bill. 50 people from the village of Galata were waiting for us outside to beat us up, that's what they wrote to me in Messenger. We are standing in the disco, they turned on the lights. "Mladen Mladenov just waved his hand at them and 30 people entered the disco with clubs and winkels," said Svilen, one of the victims.
Denis is also among the injured, he says he has over 40 stitches on his head, he even fainted. He is categorical that they did not provoke the attackers in any way.
Parents of the injured boys want to see the footage from the cameras to find out who the attackers are and whether they were provoked.
The police announced that there is one arrested for the fight, who is from the village of Galata.
“Work on the case continues, an investigation is being carried out. After the end of the inspection, the materials on the case will be reported to the prosecutor's office”, states the position of the law enforcement authorities.
