Fleet Admiral Georgi Penev, Deputy. - Commander of the Naval Forces, wished his colleagues to believe in the future of the Bulgarian Army. Admiral Penev said that they manage to meet all the challenges in the Black Sea. He pointed out that new ships are currently being built, and adoption of new equipment is pending.
„The first ship is on the water, the second will also be launched in the middle of next year. Their construction will continue according to plan”, Admiral Penev told NOVA.
Nearly two years after the start of the project for the construction of the new multifunctional patrol ships, the first of them "Brave" has already been launched.

We are talking about a combat ship in the Navy”, he added.
The ship is also suitable for the most difficult military missions at sea.
„It has systems and weapons that fully cover the latest trends in the construction of new warships on a global scale,” said Captain II rank Nikolay Viktorov - commander of the newly built MMPK “Brave”.
The warship is expected to enter service as early as next year. The construction of the second battleship "Courageous" is also on schedule.
