The conditions for tourism in the mountains are good. The gondola lift is working on Borovets, the Mountain Rescue Service informed BTA.

An action to rescue Romanian tourists took place yesterday on Vihren peak in the Bansko region. The tourist climbed to the top, but on the way down, despite the clear weather, he deviated from the path and sprained his leg. He did not have the necessary equipment for winter conditions.
A rescue operation also took place in the area of the Skaklya waterfall near the Bov station. An elderly man fainted and hit himself. Four mountain rescuers took him down.
It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. In the afternoon over the massifs in Western Bulgaria it will be cloudy and in some places it will rain and thunder. It will blow to a moderate wind from the west-northwest. The maximum temperature at a height of 1200 meters will be about 16°, at 2000 meters - about 8°, according to the forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.
