Stefan Yanev: There are crises in all spheres of public life - 1

"We enter the campaign responsibly. Our goal is to seek the trust of the people and to work for the success of Bulgaria. The supra-party thinking comes after the people sent the Bulgarian representatives to the parliament with their vote. We looked at (non)coalitions that are made for the sake of power. In recent years, politically, we have been doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Trust will be built when people feel that their agenda is in the way politicians make real policy.

This was stated by the leader of the "Bulgarian Rise" Stefan Yanev in the show "The Day ON AIR".

In his words, there are crises in all spheres of public life - from one crisis to another. According to him, the most important is the demographic, which requires special attention.

"The judicial system is made up of people who work, most of them with good intentions. The system works, but it works slowly. We need to change this - to make the administration of justice faster," Yanev told Bulgaria ON AIR.

When asked how it affects the system that the former Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zhivko Kotsev, is facing charges, Yanev replied that this is a problem of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and specified that the Chief Secretary is the head of all uniformed officers. The leader of "Bulgarian Rise" is of the opinion that if the government of the (non)coalition considered Bulgaria's entry into Schengen a priority, former Prime Minister Denkov would not have said that DANS was engaged in smuggling.

"The organization of elections does not depend only on the caretaker government. It depends on the CEC, the prosecutor's office and the actions of the Ministry of the Interior. It is important to elect people who are able to lead a policy of dialogue - a policy that gives rise to solutions in the interest of the Bulgarian citizens," Yanev added.

He noted that the debate on Europe is very important.

"We want to see a Europe of nations, a Europe of success, a Europe of peace. All that is happening in Europe is indicative that yesterday's public mood is changing," the candidate for deputy is emphatic.
