The deputies of the 49th National Assembly worked for 121 plenary days

The 49th National Assembly has been functioning since April 13, 2023. And it will continue its activities until the election of a new parliament after the early elections on June 9.

Since the beginning of their mandate, the deputies have adopted 148 laws and 286 decisions, reported the parliamentary administration.

Legislative activity

Since the beginning of its mandate, the 49th National Assembly has adopted 148 laws, 286 decisions and three declarations. This is indicated by a report prepared by the Directorate "Legislative activity, parliamentary control and EU law" of the National Assembly and the parliamentary press center.

The Parliament had 122 plenary sessions, 21 of which were extraordinary.

From April 12, 2023 to April 30, 2024, a total of 359 bills were submitted to the 49th National Assembly, 216 of which were introduced by members of parliament. During this period, 410 draft decisions were submitted to the parliament, of which 325 were from people's representatives. 9 projects for addresses and declarations have also been submitted.

Parliamentary control

In the 49th National Assembly until April 30, 2024, 2,888 questions were asked and 76 questions were asked. Parliamentary control was conducted in 26 plenary meetings for parliamentary control and in four extraordinary plenary meetings. Blitzcontrol was held in 8 Friday plenary sessions, and 74 questions were asked by people's representatives from all parliamentary groups.

The parliamentary time used to carry out the control function of the National Assembly since the beginning of the mandate is 156 hours and 54 minutes. In this period, the forms of parliamentary control used are questions and questions, blitz control, debates on questions, hearings and votes of no confidence. 31 hearings were held under Art. 111 of the Rules for the Organization and Activities of the National Assembly, one debate on the question and two votes of no confidence were rejected.

Of the questions with a written answer, there are 2277, and 611 – with a mouth. Regarding the questions, 52 were answered in writing, and 24 were answered orally. 2498 questions and 60 questions were answered.
