Inactive people on the labor market in Bulgaria are over one million. They don't study, they don't work, they don't have registration in the labor offices. This "army" is a huge untapped work potential.
This was stated by the director of the Employment Agency Smilen Valov before the BNR. The profile of the most inactive person in the country is a 56-year-old woman with a secondary education, living in a city.
"The agency will make a "register for the inactive," which will help to stir up this potential - promises Valov. "It is particularly risky at the moment to leave them out of state support, especially young people who neither study nor work, but they are the future", he emphasized and added that 56% of those activated so far by the Agency then find their place at the labor market.
