Deputy candidate from GERB-SDS Delyan Dobrev commented on Asen Vassilev's words on the air of the show "On Focus" with Lora Krumova” on May 19. Then Vassilev said: “We have not "washed" Borisov and Peevski. We got dirty. I know from them themselves that their plans are for Borisov to be retired as president and for Peevski to become prime minister.
„ Asen Vassilev's words were crisis PR, because they have accumulated many problems recently. People got to see what they were about and hear them in a casual environment. It's one thing to speak in front of the cameras, it's quite another to discuss cash in the party headquarters and how much cash you need, Delyan Dobrev said.
„What exactly is this cash for? In my opinion, the direction has been lost. The question is what do you pay in a cash campaign, because even if the record is edited, they say they need cash. You don't pay with cash on television, right? These paid participations are over BGN 10,000, by law you cannot pay more than this amount in cash. That is, the question is, what is their three and a half million cash for? It doesn't matter who gives it, whether it's Bobokov or someone else, in my opinion, that's not the main thing. And why do they need cash?”, Dobrev said and added that, in his opinion, in an election campaign cash can only be used to buy votes.
In his words, GERB-SDS will not form a coalition with the BSP after the elections. “I would exclude PP-DB because of everything that is happening”, he pointed out.
„I would pray on my knees to Tomislav Donchev to take up the European funds again, because for these BGN 50 billion, we still have three and a half years to absorb them. Of this money, we have used 1 billion”, stressed the candidate for deputy and noted that, in his opinion, Boyko Borisov is the most prepared for the post of Prime Minister of Bulgaria.
