Pirogov Hospital. was sentenced in the last instance to give detailed information about the meeting of the Medical Council and the Health Care Council, from which an audio recording of speeches and threats against members of the "Danaya" foundation was leaked.
The management of the hospital must also pay over BGN 1,000 for expenses in the case won by Danaya's mother Ani Stoyanova in the Administrative Court in Blagoevgrad.
The information about the meeting held on February 1 was requested under the Access to Public Information Act.
There are 23 questions sent by the "Danaya" foundation. Among them: was the case of the girl who died a year ago in Pirogov discussed, were threats made against the mother Ani Stoyanova and Kremena Kuneva, was this reflected in the protocol from the meeting.
The protocol itself is also requested. Whether outsiders were present at the meeting and how the participation of heads of clinics and departments is compatible with ensuring the health of patients are also among the questions.
The request for information was refused by the director of the hospital, Dr. Valentin Dimitrov. After the court decision, he is obliged to answer the questions raised within 14 days from the notification of this decision. The sum of BGN 1010, which "Pirogov" is sentenced to pay, will be donated for the treatment of a child abroad, the "Danaya" foundation announced.
