President Rumen Radev ordered an investigation to see if snipers are guarding the house of GERB leader Boyko Borisov in "Bankya".
"If there are threats to an individual, it should not be a public threat, but simply adequate measures should be taken to protect him. This type of protection is decided by a commission in which the Ministry of the Interior participates, commented the leader of "Bulgarian Rise“ Stefan Yanev in the program "The Day ON AIR", quoted by novini.bg.
Declared internationally wanted Evelin Banev - Brendo entered Bulgaria and surrendered himself to the police. In 2018, he was sentenced to six years in prison for laundering money from drug trafficking, but was not found at his address. On this occasion, Yanev gave the example of the USA, where 300,000 illegal migrants crossed the border at the end of last year.
Yanev commented on the possibilities for the future government.
"The minority government can work, but how long it will last is not clear. It probably won't last in the very distant horizon. On June 9, Bulgarians did not go out to vote en masse. Being political as an action has the effect of constantly turning people away from the ballot box. Fears of a potential election in the fall mean voter turnout will drop even further. There is no system that will solve all the problems we have. What matters is what the parties do for the people. This outflow of voters shows a yellow card for the parties, not to say a red one. The main problem is that the political is in a severe crisis and the way out of this crisis is not in sight", Yanev told Bulgaria ON AIR.
In his words, the parties have focused on themselves, and politicians do not have the responsibility, becoming people's representatives, to conduct a dialogue and seek interaction in the interest of the citizens.
"It is good to have a cabinet that solves the problems of today. To look at the horizon at least until tomorrow. The country is slipping. The political thing is that the parties are addressed to the people and solve their problems", emphasized the leader of "Bulgarian Rise“.
He explained that it will always be dangerous around us, but the question is what follows from this geopolitical situation and whether we as a country are prepared. According to him, crises and wars lead to one common conclusion - the world is changing.
"A new world order is coming. "We are no longer talking about a multipolar world, but about a multimodal one - small poles that will determine regional policies and regional forces," Yanev added.
