The new beginning for DPS is a fact. Whoever does not understand it remains in the past. For us, the most important thing is the voice of the people and the will of the structures. This was stated by the chairman of the DPS Delyan Peevski at the beginning of the working meeting with the municipal mayors from the DPS.
The meeting was also attended by the deputy chairpersons of the DPS and PG of the DPS, people's representatives and members of the Central Committee of the DPS.
In the elections, we showed that we can listen to the people and they gave us their trust. We have the energy and the will to follow the Euro-Atlantic path of our country and we are uncompromising in defending them, regardless of the provocations, Peevski also said.
The mayors of the DPS are the ones who carry out the policies of the DPS and are among the people, together with our party structures, therefore they are our litmus for our direction and actions, the chairman of the DPS also points out.
The meeting discussed the results of the past parliamentary elections, people's assessment and expectations of the political processes at the national level, as well as the specific problems of individual municipalities and settlements, for the solution of which people rely on support from the central government.
