This year in July, the average monthly temperature is expected to be higher than the norm, which for most of the country is between 22 and 26 degrees, and for the mountains - between 6 and 14 degrees.
The monthly amount of precipitation will be around the norm, which for most of the country is between 60 and 90 liters per square meter, along the Black Sea and the Struma river valley - between 30 and 60 liters per square meter, and for the mountainous areas - from 70 to 120 liters per square meter.
July will start with mostly sunny and relatively warm weather. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop and in some places, in the far western and mountainous regions, it will rain and thunder. On July 2 and 3, a cold atmospheric front will pass and the air mass will destabilize.
And in the following days until the middle of the first ten days, there will be short-term rainfall, thunderstorms and hail in many places in the country. In the second half of the first ten days, a relative stabilization of the air mass is expected and the weather will be mostly sunny, with the development of cumulus clouds over the mountainous regions, where short-term precipitation is also possible.
During the second ten days of July, the probability of sunny and dry weather is greater. It is not excluded that there will be isolated short-term precipitation on individual days, mainly in the mountainous regions. Temperatures will rise and are again expected to be above normal.
During the third ten-day period, temperatures are expected to remain relatively high. During the first days of the period, there is a greater probability of the development of cumulus clouds and precipitation accompanied by thunder in more places in the country. The probability of precipitation is relatively less from the middle of the second ten days until the end of the month.
