Delian Peevski has his deputies in GERB. The good news – there is no government of Delyan Peevski and Boyko Borisov; the bad – we have no government. This is the seventh time that GERB has not been able to form a government. We have to say it – Borisov cannot govern, even together with his friend.
This is what he told "This Morning" on bTV Yavor Bozhankov from “We continue the change”-”Democratic Bulgaria”.
He refused to indicate the number or the names of the GERB parliamentary group that have been handed over to Delyan Peevski.
Yavor Bozhankov is categorical:
„There are much more important topics for Bulgaria than the retirement and survival of Boyko Borisov.
Borisov scolds us from morning to night, insults us in every appearance, he never intended to form a government with us. this cabinet was a request that he does not regret anything – they fell from power with the mass protests in 2020, and he offered us these same ministers, saying: “For me, nothing bad happened, now I will take you back to that time.”
„Borisov, solely because of Peevski's will, sent us to elections.
However, their accounts did not come out. We underestimated the extent to which GERD is dependent on DPS.
We see that in DPS we cannot put everyone under a common denominator, so here we are talking about Peevski – he also has MPs in the GERB group. Our conversation with GERB is impossible, because there another person makes the decisions”, the MP from PP-DB also said.
„The leader of the pro-Russian „Revival” announced that he had spoken with “key” factors from the coalition – it is only in his fantasies. The party is like Russian radioactive waste, Bozhankov added.
„I have no idea if the second mandate will come to us, but if it is handed to us, we will treat it with all our responsibility. Everything that was written in our agreement will apply now. We have more than one chairman of the formation – not fictitiously, but really, and everyone from the coalition will discuss exactly how to act with the second mandate. We will not take a step back from our priorities," he emphasized.
