Ivaylo Shotev from PP-DB told BNT, that it is "utter absurdity" to talk about negotiations with the "Revival" party.
"We are absolutely diametrically opposed formations. Yes, we may be on the same line of the political spectrum, but we are on radically different sides, so there can be dialogue, but I don't see cooperation in what form it could take," added the MP from PP-DB.
He said that with "Revival" nothing unites them, only that they work against the GERD model. The possibility of negotiation tends to zero. He added that we are currently seeing a "connection between Borisov and Peevski".
"The dependence between the two formations is so visible that, on the one hand, the voters of GERB are dependent on those of DPS for making decisions.
Shotev said that there is currently a "total erosion in voter confidence".
When asked if a merger between PP-DB, GERB and the part of DPS that support Ahmed Dogan is possible, Shotev answered that "even if such an equation could happen mathematically, it is ideologically unsustainable".
In his words, the government has "gone" because:
"On one side you have people who have conquered the whole country. And on the other hand - people who want to move the country forward".
For the PP-DB MP, "the third mandate would not be legitimate in any form".
