The war in Ukraine and the ongoing Bulgarian aid will be the basis of the election campaign, which is knocking on our door again.

This is what the former Deputy Foreign Minister Milen Keremedchiev said in the show "The Day ON AIR".

He noted that there are two great niches in our political life that are empty. According to him, one is that President Radev is increasingly gaining ground, and the other is the extreme right, which comes from the USA, but has not sown its seeds in Bulgaria yet.

Keremedchiev also commented on the situation after the elections in France.

"It is not the first time politicians have called on their voters to unite their differences against Ms Le Pen and her party. By rallying against Le Pen, forces converged on the far left. France is heading for the political chaos that was thrown by Macron. It is obvious that it will be very difficult to form a government and strong politics. It is very difficult to form a majority. It is more likely to form between the far left and Lao Pen. Macron will be isolated in the coming policies. He will complete his mandate, but his decisions will be challenged," Keremedchiev predicted to Bulgaria ON AIR.

When asked how the processes in France will affect the new EP, he replied that a vacuum of strong leaders is being created in Europe, which is very quickly trying to seize Orbán. Keremedchiev is of the opinion that through the creation of the PG in the EP "Patriots for Europe", visits to Ukraine, Russia, China and Washington, Orban is trying to show that his policies are more attractive to voters in Europe than to his critics .

According to the guest, Biden opposes any ideas about his replacement. If he drops out on his own, then another candidate can be found, but if he doesn't drop out, Keremedchiev is sure that Biden's delegates will vote for him. The former deputy foreign minister believes that there will be a second debate with Trump in September, which will be disastrous.

"Trump will be another necessary evil. Without the US, NATO members are unable to face the growing threat from Russia. The elections in the United States will have an extremely strong influence on trends in Europe," Keremedchiev emphasized.

According to him, at the NATO meeting in Washington, it will become clear that Ukraine will not receive an invitation to join the alliance, but aid to the country will be confirmed.
