Not forming a regular government is not good for Bulgaria. The administration is stressed with these frequent shifts. There are many important tasks to be solved. A consensus had to be found. We proposed a government with iconic figures who did not find support. There were discussions and eventually the government was rejected. We need more composure and more national responsibility, as GERB-SDS demonstrated.

This is what the deputy from GERB-SDS Rumen Hristov commented in the show "The Day ON AIR".

In his words, the great tasks facing Bulgaria are more important than the contradictions. He noted that the growth of incomes and pensions should be realized through the growth of the economy, not through loans. Hristov is categorical that on this issue GERB-SDS has no points of contact with PP-DB.

"Categorically, Bulgaria, by signing the EU accession treaty, has made a commitment to join the common European currency - the euro. States do not have the right to referendums regarding taxes and fees. The role of politicians is to be visionaries and take charge. Sometimes hybrid intervention, insufficient explanation could distort the result. We did not sign the contract with the opinion that we will not accept the euro. Its acceptance brings economic benefits", Hristov told Bulgaria ON AIR.

He pointed out that our country also has obligations as a member of NATO. The deputy is convinced that there will be no Bulgarian soldiers in Ukraine and NATO will not intervene directly in the conflict.

"GERB-SDS categorically stated that it will not support a second and third mandate, after we did not receive support. We are 68, there are 240 deputies in the parliament to sit down and form a government. There are enough mandates in the parliament to form a government and see how they can govern. We will be the opposition. The most important role of a political party is to implement its policies. "Every political formation strives for governance," Hristov said.
