I strongly condemn the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and wish him a speedy recovery. Violence has no place in the civilized and democratic world.
This is what GERB leader Boyko Borisov wrote on his "Facebook" profile.
We must all realize clearly that the language of hate only divides our societies, he wrote.
"In Bulgaria, the language of hatred between politicians is becoming increasingly sharp and visible. Division between people is dangerous and I have long warned that it will not lead to anything good. That is why we once again state that we rely on political maturity in the upcoming election campaign without the language of hate," Borisov also wrote.
