Honorary Chairman of DPS Ahmed Dogan can return to active politics because of the tremors in DPS. This was stated by Ilhan Kyuchuk, Deputy Chairman of the DPS, in the BTV studio.
When asked if the chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Delyan Peevski, wanted to make Ahmed Dogan dependent, Kyucyuk said he had no such information and added that Dogan would not make himself dependent from which he could not free himself.
When asked what happened in the DPS, the deputy chairman gave an example of the removal of Ahmed Dogan's personal secretary Birshen Ibryanova, who was shown the door after being told to choose between Peevski or Dogan.
The low results in the regions were a screen because there were regions with low results, but their representatives were not removed.
The border in the DPS was crossed with the latest scandals in the party, Ilhan Kyuchyuk pointed out and explained that initially, when he was elected chairman of the Movement, he was on good terms with Delyan Peevski.
What is happening is intolerable to this day, continued Ilhan Kyuchuk, but we will still act according to the statute regarding the resignations requested by Dogan, including Peevski.
Asked what will be the impact on DPS voters if Peevski creates a new party, the deputy president said that it will go its own way and will not influence the voters of the Movement.
