A serious accident with a victim and three injured closed the road to "Makaza"

One person died and three others were injured in a serious accident on the international road to Greece through the "Makaza" pass, BNR reported.

The section is closed to traffic in both directions. Traffic is being diverted through the town of Jebel.

The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. in the section between the villages of Sadovitsa and Zagorsko.

According to initial information, two cars collided - with Greek and Romanian registration, and the victims were traveling in the Greek car. The injured were taken to the hospital in Kardzhali, but there is no information about their condition at the moment.

Traffic is regulated by the "Traffic Police".
