A 19-year-old youth died in an accident last night on the road Dobrich - the resort "Albena" between the villages of Slaveevo and Stefanovo, according to the police.
The incident was reported at around 23:25 on July 14.
At the scene, it was determined that a car driven by a 19-year-old man lost control of the motor vehicle on a straight and dry stretch of road, entered the oncoming traffic lane and hit a roadside tree.
As a result of the accident, the driver died on the spot. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated on the case.
Four people died and 33 were injured in accidents in the country over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of the Interior announced.
There were 29 serious traffic accidents. Since the beginning of July, there have been a total of 355 serious traffic accidents in which 29 people died and 435 were injured.
