President Rumen Radev will take part in a demonstration flight with the RS-21 training aircraft of a new generation on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the “Pilatus“ in the composition of the Bulgarian Air Force (Air Force), announced the press office of the head of state, writes BTA.
Rumen Radev will participate in the celebration of the anniversary of the adoption of the PC-9M training aircraft and the PC-12/45 transport aircraft produced by the Swiss company “Pilatus Aircraft” in the composition of the Bulgarian Air Force from 9:00 a.m. at the "Hostile" transport air base.
The acting Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov, Deputy Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Tsanko Stoykov, Air Force Commander Major General Dimitar Petrov will also attend the event, the Ministry of Defense announced.
The official minister will hold a meeting with representatives of “Pilatus Aircraft“ (Switzerland). The Ministry of Defense and “Pilatus Aircraft“ have concluded a framework agreement from 2021 for integrated logistics support of PC-9M and PC-12/45 aircraft, it is clear from the announcement of the military department.
