< strong>Unprecedentedly, municipal councilors and municipal councilors from the Ecology Commission in the Metropolitan Municipal Council (SOC) were not allowed to the household waste processing plant. They are trying to hide information, a dark curtain has been lowered and the municipal councilors cannot step there, complained the municipal councilor from GERB-SDS and former candidate for mayor of Sofia Anton Hekimyan at a press briefing.
"What are they hiding? What else are they hiding? Is RDF waste being recovered or not? What are you hiding, Mr. Vasil Terziev, and why don't you allow municipal councilors to do an inspection", asked Hekimyan, albeit in absentia through the media, the mayor of Sofia, Vasil Terziev.
He recalled Terziev's words from the pre-election campaign for the local elections - that PP-DB-Save Sofia would show that they could govern transparently. For 9 months we have seen a completely non-transparent administration of Sofia in various spheres, criticized Anton Hekimyan.
Anton Hekimyan asked if there is a plant for processing household waste and is it working?
The former municipal councilor from "Vazrazhdane" and now independent municipal councilor Krasimir Galabov stood next to Anton Hekimyan. We remind you that it was Galabov who was the co-sponsor, along with Carlos Contrera, of the report on the change of management of the six municipal companies, which was defined as an attack against the citizens of Sofia by Vasil Terziev last week, news.bg recalls.
He pointed out that there is an element of sabotage of the Ecology Commission in SOS by the municipal waste processing plant. "The sabotage and denial continues, as we were not allowed to enter the plant and were shown photos that may be from before the equipment was repaired, but this is unacceptable," Galabov pointed out.
The refusal to admit the municipal councilors was motivated by the internal rules, but Galabov defined this as "ugly, disgusting and inadmissible" attitude of municipal councilors and members of the Ecology Commission.
Lorita Radeva from GERB-SDS indicated that there are three highlights on the most striking attempts to deceive and manipulate the municipal councilors. The first manipulation: the depleting volumes in the landfill of the Metropolitan Municipality in terms of its filling with waste - up to 18 months, and there is no recovery plan. The second manipulation - the poor quality of RDF waste despite all remedial measures. The delivered quantities of RDF waste have been manipulated. The third manipulation - the director of the plant denied access to municipal councilors to enter the enterprise. The question is what are they hiding, Radeva asked.
