Dobromir Zhivkov: Peevski will inevitably look for his own party project if he is expelled from the DPS

„If Mr. Peevski and those closest to him in DPS, are excluded from the party, he will inevitably look for his political project, because he needs political legitimation. This is key for him.“

This is what Dobromir Zhivkov from the polling agency “Market Links” said on Euronews Primetime.

“Such political legitimation Peevski received for many years from DPS, even after he was already sanctioned by the USA and Great Britain. And it is extremely important for him, including for his economic interests, that he be part of Bulgarian politics”, added Zhivkov.

According to him, the lack of leadership debates is a big problem for Bulgarian society.

The absolute minimum is in every election campaign for the political leaders of the largest formations to appear in a debate, in a public conversation, in which they present their positions on how they see the development of the country.

“This is hiding the Bulgarian politicians from the voters. Bulgarian politicians cannot love and become more and more accustomed to being in an environment controlled by them. They must stand in an equal battle with their opponents, equal to them in position,”, Zhivkov pointed out.
