On another day of fire fighting in our country, people had to evacuate due to the natural disaster near the village of Voden in Yambol. More than ten houses were burnt to ashes, and help was sought from Turkey to deal with the fire – two helicopters, fire engines and bulldozers. This was said by the Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Kalin Stoyanov, who went to the spot. The Ministry of Defense diverted a helicopter from the Plovdiv village of Otets Paisievo to help the firefighters.
A helicopter from the Krumovo air base was involved in extinguishing the fire near the village of Gorska Polyana in the municipality of Bolyarovo, the director of the fire service in Yambol, Commissioner Kolyo Gyaurov, announced. Violeta Koritarova, all the machinery of "Highways" EAD will be involved in the rescue activities and will provide assistance to the fire services, the press center of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRRD) announced.
