Ivan Hristanov: It is good for Bulgaria to go quickly to the elections - 1

The declaration presented by "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" is political PR. This is the opinion of the leader of "Edinenie" and former Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ivan Hristanov.

"My concern is that this is a move that works for Delyan Peevski. The war in DPS is tough. These people are already ready to grab each other's throats. In this uproar in the DPS, it is good for Bulgaria to quickly go to the elections, because the DPS is currently not controlled by either Peevski or Dogan. When we see such a declaration, we ask ourselves the question of who is most pleased with it. Any delay gives Peevski an opportunity to master DPS".

This is what he analyzes in "The Day ON AIR" and reminded that the people who broke away from DPS did not return.

"40% of the territory of Bulgaria is a demographic desert - there are no people to put out the fires. Bulgaria is in second place in Europe for drought after Spain. We must have a visionary approach to the whole problem. We need to pour money into solutions. Atanas Rusev shows through satellite images that the fire that hit the village of Voden started from the road. It's most likely intentional. If we have suspicions that someone is incinerating hundreds of thousands of acres of forest, we should put a moratorium," Hristanov told Bulgaria ON AIR.

Fire trucks cannot reach the forest without forest roads, emphasized the leader of "Edinenie".

"Money is being stolen. The colleagues with whom we managed the Ministry of Agriculture filed reports about the forest roads. Bulgaria did not buy drones for three decades. Not a single plane was bought. The state behaves carelessly, that's why it burns. Half steal, the other half are lazy. The picture in Bulgaria in the next 10 years is shaping up to be bad," Hristanov concluded.
