Bulgaria is talking with Germany about buying air defense systems. Sofia is looking for "price offers and privileges that the German government provides for their armed forces”.

During the commission, Zapryanov said that at a later stage, the deputies will also consider the contract proposals for the Javelin anti-tank missiles needed by the new "Stryker" ground vehicles, as well as the decision on ammunition for the vehicles, which the Council of Ministers approved in Wednesday.
