Code Yellow for intense rainfall, powerful thunderstorms and hail is still in force today in almost the entire country, and in North-Eastern Bulgaria the warning is of the second degree code orange for local amounts up to about 80 liters per square meter, BNT reported.
It will also be windy, with maximum temperatures ranging from 25° up to 32°, in Sofia around 27°.
There will be rain and thunder along the Black Sea. There will also be conditions for hail. A moderate wind will blow from the north-northeast.
Dangerous weather in the mountains as well - strong thunderstorm activity is expected there as well as hail conditions.
There will be torrential rains and thunderstorms on Friday as well, but mainly in Eastern Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures across the country will drop and the wind will make it feel even cooler than the actual weather.
The next few days will be sunny, with light showers on Saturday in eastern areas, and temperatures will rise again.
