A short-lived summer storm swept over Plovdiv last night, BNT reported.
There have been no reports of injured people, but there are reports of material damage. In places in the “Southern” citizens complained on social networks about branches falling on their cars.
Because of the wind, a construction fence on “Dimitar Talev” Blvd. was also torn down, but no one was injured.
The situation is calm and normal, the fire service in the city assured. Where there are fallen branches, they will be promptly cleared by the team of the municipal company “Gardens and Parks”. The municipality is currently inspecting the areas and major boulevards in the city.
The largest number of reports of fallen branches in the municipality came from residents in the “Southern” area.
