"I would allow myself to characterize the situation as a political one a pathology that we are witnessing, but which unfortunately leads the country into resuscitation. The situation is becoming more and more critical, we are in a very difficult situation in all sectors. At the same time, not only are things not improving in Europe, there are bankruptcies in Germany, this is affecting our economy.
This was stated by former Deputy Prime Minister for European Funds Meglena Plugchieva in "Denyat ON AIR".
In her words, we do not realize what price the whole society and the whole country is paying for the situation in the country.
"Unfortunately, unlike other countries that had political crises, the institutions were working, and in our country, with every passing day, the institutions are more and more blocked, more and more helpless, they throw up their hands and nobody works. This reflects on the state of the country. As the coffers are not filled, but there are only expenses, at some point things will escalate and there will be social tension. And have we realized how much the elections cost the state and society, which we will hold for the seventh time", added Plugchieva to Bulgaria ON AIR.
According to her, a huge responsibility falls on the shoulders of Gorica Grancharova - Kozhareva.
"I know her in her capacity as deputy chairman of the Audit Chamber. I expected that there would be moral support from all political parties in order to help it to have normalization and to reach transparent and fair elections. Instead, all I heard from all the parliamentary groups was speculation about who she was. This is insulting, undignified and shows that the available political elites are totally exhausted. This is dangerous because instead of saying "let's help this woman", they talk about who could influence her, make her dependent. This is unworthy," commented the former deputy prime minister.
Knowing the society's agenda and seeing the ever-longer list of problems and crises in all sectors, the political forces should provide assistance, Plugchieva is categorical.
"Political parties should engage and help conscientiously and responsibly. And the economy, and agriculture, and the environment - it does not have a single bright ray. If I have to say that there is a bright light, it is that we have great joy in the Olympic Games, and God grant that there will be more. And the other bright ray was the awarding of Georgi Yordanov with the highest state award, but there were also political nothings who were ready to defile this recognition as well," she added.
