Yotova: I hope the new proposal for Prime Minister will calm the ground - 1

I do not expect the tension to drop, the requests and signals for political use of official offices have not stopped. I hope the new proposal for Prime Minister calms the field. Elections are coming up and every single political party will try to extract its dividend. This is the vicious conception of the latest amendments to the Constitution, which were made in the direction of affirming parliamentarism, but the exact opposite is happening. Every day, because of these amendments, we witness the destruction of parliamentarism in Bulgaria. These amendments have opened Pandora's box, stated in "The Day Begins" the vice president Iliana Yotova.

In her words, with their adoption, coups, conspiracies, affairs to overthrow the Speaker of the National Assembly became possible.

"There will be accusations to the upcoming cabinet of political use. Definitely, this official office does not belong to the president - it is time to remove all masks and say clearly that the amendments concerning the official office were made against one person - Rumen Radev. This was the deal in the assembly," Iliana Yotova added.

She explained that she was hopeful after the talks about the third term.

"After these elections, there are 3 options - a minority government with a certain program with the consent of a majority in the National Assembly without entering into a real coalition for a certain period of time. The second option is scheduled coalitions, and the third is an expert and technical government. There is nothing wrong with seeing who is the contender of the various political formations for prime minister," said the vice president and noted that the country is in a crisis.

The issue with the nomination of a Bulgarian European Commissioner commented as follows: "I have the feeling that it is being deliberately swept under the carpet, there is no public discussion about the person and the department. Bulgaria does not have a particularly good track record in its nominations for commissioners. Someone has to lead these negotiations, it is said that we may get the energy".

Iliyana Yotova congratulated the Bulgarian athletes for their successful performance at the Olympic Games in Paris and wished them health. "They did the most important thing for us to believe in ourselves as Bulgarians,", Yotova said.
