Desislava Ivancheva called for the early release of Bilyana Petrova from prison prison in Sliven, reported FOCUS.

The two were convicted of soliciting and receiving a bribe from businessman Alexander Vaklin.

In her Facebook post, Ivancheva calls for the early release due to the deteriorating health condition of the former deputy mayor of the capital region "Mladost".

She writes that Bilyana Petrova should start immediate treatment for pelvic and back pain. Ivancheva tells about how Petrova worked for 3 weeks with broken bones as a result of hard labor in prison. In the words of the former mayor of "Mladost" Petrova received painkillers, but they stopped working.

"For 15 days, Bilyana has been on painkillers again, because of severe pains – already in the pelvis and spine where the fractures and cracks are. She is in great danger - her bones are currently too fragile, her bone density is like that of an 80-90 year old woman. Right now, she has to be very careful, because any voluntary or involuntary fall, push, could be her last. In prison, this is mission impossible," Ivancheva wrote in her post.

She also says that Bilyana Petrova has been moving around with a cane for months, and every day she had to climb steps equal to 10-15 floors: "In Sliven Prison, they cannot provide her with the vital care she needs", she is categorical she.
