The presence of the gendarmerie is in the Roma quarter "Nadezhda" in Sliven after a fight. During the weekends, a specialized operation was conducted in the neighborhood to protect public order and security.
This was announced by the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Sliven.
The incident took place on the evening of August 10 at “Krali Marko” because of loud music. Bottles and stones were thrown by the groups involved in the conflict. When the conflict was brought under control, minor damage was done to a police car. There were no injuries. Four people have been detained.
During the operation, 187 people, 168 motor vehicles and animal-drawn vehicles were checked. 24 acts for violation of the Road Traffic Act (non-use of a child seat, installed film to darken the front windows, modification of the structure, technical malfunction and others) and 31 slips were drawn up. According to the Ordinance of the Municipality of Sliven, four acts were drawn up - two suits for carts were seized for movement in a prohibited road section, two acts were drawn up for loud music.
Public order and security operations in the neighborhood are regular and ongoing.
