A warning of dangerously high temperatures has also been announced today in Eastern Bulgaria, with the exception of the Black Sea coast, BNT reported.
Over the western half of the country there will be showers, thunderstorms and the risk of hail.
Maximum temperatures will be from 27° in the western regions up to 37° in Central and Eastern Bulgaria.
There will be intense rainfall and thunderstorms in the mountains - mainly in the massifs of Western and Central Bulgaria.
In the coming days, it will rain in fewer and fewer places. It will be hot in most regions of the country with temperatures higher than the climatic norms.
