Burudzhieva: Radev made an ugly scene by refusing to sign the decree - 1

It will not be an option to bring the DPS closer to power. Therefore, with this case and what is happening, it is most likely that they will return to Dimitar Glavchev.

This is how the political scientist Associate Professor Tatyana Burudzhieva commented to Euronews Bulgaria about the political crisis we are in and the talks between President Rumen Radev and the potential candidates for acting prime minister.

Regarding the incident with Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov and the head of state's refusal to sign a decree for the "Grancharova" cabinet, Burudzhieva said that she had not "heard of any election violations" since Stoyanov was in office under two parliamentary votes. "There is something else behind this whole story. "No one wants to deepen the crisis that President Radev has created," she believes.

"I took the trouble and reread the texts, Radev knows how to play the role of president, because he made an ugly scene by refusing to sign the decree," added Burudzhieva.

In her opinion, "in itself, this list is "nonsensical" there are enough examples of caretaker governments," she said of the "house book" on which candidates for caretaker prime minister can be selected. According to her, those in power should reflect on what can be improved in this direction. "Everything that happens in the state deepens the need to talk about what the separation of powers really is,", she added.

According to her colleague, the political scientist Atanas Radev, in addition to the conversation about the deepening of the political crisis, "we also miss the influence that is exerted on the candidate for acting prime minister. Political parties must work in the direction of what is the responsibility and who bears it for the official offices".

In his words "people's representatives themselves cannot control the executive power"

"Now it is agony, both they will gather for a meeting, and whether they will be able to choose a candidate, etc.,", he concluded.
