"Yes, Bulgaria!": The re-nomination of Glavchev is the result of the politicians' inability to reach an agreement - 1

The re-nomination of Dimitar Glavchev for acting prime minister is the result the inability of the political forces in the Bulgarian parliament to reach agreement and majorities on important political decisions. This is stated in the position of "Yes, Bulgaria!", sent to the media on the occasion of the re-nomination of Dimitar Glavchev for acting prime minister, announced earlier today. Here is more from the text of the document:
At the beginning of the week “We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria“ proposed exactly such a solution – providing an alternative for the election of an acting prime minister. On our initiative, consultations were organized with all parliamentaryly represented formations, excluding DPS-Peevski, with the aim of initiating the procedures for adopting the changes introduced by the PP-DB to the Law on the Audit Chamber, which would allow the election of a person with high public confidence as the deputy chairman of the Audit Chamber. We have proposed discussion of all other possible options for the fastest completion of the constitutional procedure for choosing a cabinet.
A majority of 121 people's representatives was not found for any of this.
We insist that the candidate for acting prime minister comply with public expectations and not just present a draft to the composition of the Council of Ministers, in which the name of Kalin Stoyanov is absent, but to ensure that there is not one “lieutenant” of Peevski in the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be replaced by another.
We insist that Mr. Glavchev stop appointing and dismissing regional governors under the dictation of Peevski.

It will depend on these actions of the caretaker prime minister whether the government led by him will ensure fair and free elections on October 27.
