„I am an optimist. Everything came down to the issue of the Minister of Internal Affairs, and it seems that Dimitar Glavchev is inclined to replace him, or so he hinted. Iliana Yotova said quite clearly yesterday that if Kalin Stoyanov is not replaced, there will be no cabinet. So I think they will put another person in his place. It is not very important with whom Stoyanov will be replaced.“

This was stated in the show “This Sunday” the sociologist Andrey Raichev. According to him, the cheapest way out for everyone is the replacement of Kalin Stoyanov.

„Hope everything goes well. But here the question of the possible falsifications of these elections also arises. With a machine vote, falsifications are practically impossible. Only paper ballots allow this game. If one million people vote, one hundred thousand is 10%. If two million vote – that's 5%. If three or four million vote – it doesn't matter. "The big problem with election fraud is the low level of voting," the analyst added.

Associate Professor Petar Cholakov from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the BAS was also present in the studio with him. According to him, there is no reason to believe that voter turnout will increase in the next elections.

„I see no basis for this type of reasoning. The great problem of our time is our inability to make choices. And this is not only true in a political context. How do you make choices when you're not feeding your mind? A study by “Alpha Research”, carried out two years ago, shows that at that time 38% of Bulgarians had not read a single book in the last year”, he stated.

„In a situation where there is no desire even to enlighten yourself – how will you go about choosing. There is an inability to separate the straw from the chaff. Which is not only characteristic of Bulgarian politics”, Prof. Cholakov also commented.
