Miroslav Rashkov heads the National Police Main Directorate

Miroslav Rashkov has been reappointed as the director of the National Police Main Directorate. This is done by order of the new Minister of Internal Affairs, Atanas Ilkov. Until now, Rashkov was the deputy director of GDBOP. The new head of the National Police was presented to its employees this afternoon, reports the press center of the Ministry of the Interior.
Before the composition of the main directorate, the minister pointed out that the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections will be a serious test. “Regardless of the accumulated experience, the focus will be strongly directed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which requires maximum organization and concentration,” Ilkov pointed out.
He expressed confidence that the professional qualities and dedication of the employees will continue to be a guarantor for justifying the trust of the society. “I take responsibility for the implementation of the set priorities”, said the head. commissioner Miroslav Rashkov and thanked the minister for his vote of confidence.
