In the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections, we will not see DPS in this form. in which we are used to. This was stated in the “NOVA News Interview” the sociologist from “Trend” Evelina Slavkova, after it became clear that the Central Operational Bureau of the party decided to exclude Delyan Peevski.
„We will have two options - on the one hand, something around Dogan, which will rely on parties to form a coalition. On the other side, a party or a coalition around Peevski”, explained Slavkova.
According to her, this decision will be attacked in court.
„First it is important to understand whether this CPC meeting has its legitimacy in the context of the number of people who have to make this decision. I think the CPC is 24 people, they should have 16+1 for the decisions to be legitimate. On the other hand, this is a political act that wants to show that they differ not only in relation to Delyan Peevski. We see in the list also people who have worked in places and are representatives of the DPS, who on Dogan's side accept them as Peevski's people, the sociologist added.
In her words, the result of the war will be seen after the elections.
