Valeriya Veleva: The ferocity at the top of the BSP has never reached levels that relate to the existence of the party - 1

There is a huge possibility that BSP and DPS will not appear in the elections with their abbreviation. The DPS will be in a coalition, but it could be something other than the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. This is predicted by the journalist Valeriya Veleva in an interview with BNR.

"The problems must be solved by the court. The conflicts in BSP and DPS are at the level of war, internally at the level between leaders and war at the constitutional level. In such cases, when these formations are faced with registration for elections, the problems reach the court. And no one can say how they will be resolved," the journalist is convinced.
According to her, the rift in DPS is so significant and with a long projection in time:

"He will not decide now and will continue after the election. And DPS will never be DPS as we know it. There will be stratification processes at the structural level, but we do not know how the electorate will accept this battle at the top. Because the electorate needs to be explained. Why did you accept a Peevski chairman, why are you removing him, why are you not removing him according to the laws of the Statute, why should the honorary chairman take on the role of a person who is above the statute? Why was Peevski allowed close to the honorary chairman and in this party for 19 years? The voter will want to hear the answers."

Valeria Veleva believes that voters will continue to ask and wait for an answer to Ahmed Dogan's statement that "Bulgaria must be freed from this man".

"The question is, why is Bulgaria dependent on one person, who gave him this power, where were you?
Familiar with the history and problems in the BSP in the last 35 years, Veleva commented that "there have always been processes of creating internal factions, wings, groups, but the ferocity at the top has never reached such levels that to rely on the existence of the party and whether the BSP appears or not", as well as in the DPS.

"We are now talking about court registration battles, but no one is talking about what will be said to the voter to get him to vote. DPS is likely to encapsulate itself in ethnicity and have ethnic voting. Dogan talks about expanding and opening the party, about a bouquet of ethnicities. What is happening shows that the reverse process is going on – shrinking of an ethnic community," warned Valeriya Veleva.
