The Parliament voted for Boyko Rashkov to head the Commission for Control over the Security Services  - 1

The MPs will discuss and vote on a draft decision to elect the chairman of the Commission for Control over security services, the application and use of special intelligence tools and access to data under the Electronic Communications Act, BTA reported.

The presenters are Nikolay Denkov and Nadezhda Yordanova from the PG of “We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria”. They propose that their colleague and former interior minister Boyko Rashkov should head the commission.

According to the adopted program, the parliament will consider in a second vote changes to the Bill for Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Child Protection, introduced by deputies from the PG of the GERB-SDS. The amendments are aimed at protecting the health of children up to the age of 18, providing for a ban on the use, sale and offering of products other than tobacco products, smokeless tobacco products, new tobacco products and heated tobacco products.

It is about restricting the use of substances, substances, liquids based on plants, herbs or fruits that do not contain tobacco or nicotine, and can be consumed by a process of burning, heating, vaporizing or otherwise, as well as plants and substances prohibited under the Narcotic Substances Control Act.

The agenda of the meeting also includes the first vote on amendments to the Law on Civil Registration, as well as to the Law on Environmental Protection.

According to the program, the MPs should also discuss a draft decision to amend the Decision on assigning the Minister of Energy to conduct negotiations with the Minister of Energy of Ukraine for the sale of equipment intended for the “Belene” NPP, proposed by Delyan Dobrev from GERB-SDS.
