Tsarevo marks one year since the flood that claimed the lives of four people, with a requiem prayer, vodosvet and a prayer service in the "Saint Tsar-Boris Michael" church, NOVA reported.
From 12:00 p.m., a health offering will be distributed to all residents and guests of the municipality.
A year ago, disaster struck the municipality, killing the president of the Tsarevo District Court, Maria Moskova, her daughter, the veterinarian Dr. Daniela Yordanova, and two men.
A year later, the municipality continues to rebuild. So far, two new bridges have been built – the one to Ahtopol and to the “Vasiliko” neighborhood. The work on designing and issuing a construction permit for the two dams, which had broken walls, is at an advanced stage, the municipality said.
