On Monday, September 9, the president and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Rumen Radev will award Bulgarian servicemen with a senior officer rank, the press center of the head of state reported, BNR reported.
With his decree, the head of state appoints the former deputy head of the educational and scientific part of the Higher Naval School "Nikola Vaptsarov" captain 1st rank Kalin Kalinov for the head of the higher educational institution and awarded him with the senior officer title "fleet admiral".
The president appoints the deputy commander of the 24th air base, Colonel Dimitar Pavlov, as the commander of the base and, with the same decree, awards him the senior officer rank of "brigadier general".
With another decree, the head of state awarded the commander of the Mobile Communication and Information System, Colonel Teodor Todorov, as the commander of the Command for Communication and Information Support and Cyber Defense with the senior officer rank of "Brigadier General".
The head of state awards the head of the National Security Service, Brigadier General Emil Tonev, with the senior officer rank of "major general".
