MP from PP-DB: It is too early to talk about coalition government

The dismantling of the Peevski model is over

Our coalition is stable. We paid the political price for establishing a government. It is too early to talk about coalition government.

This is what he announced to "This Morning" on bTV Andrey Tsekov on the occasion of the joint appearance of PP and DB in the elections after rumors of discord in the unification.

"Our goals are for more Bulgarians to stay in Bulgaria - with quality education and health care, life and urban environment," revealed the priorities of the coalition.

There is a distribution of places for the lists between the parties in the PP-DB coalition, said the former Minister of Regional Development and Public Works.

"We paid the political price for creating a government," Tsekov said and reaffirmed PP-DB's intention to demand the return of 100,000 votes to the unification. In three years, the coalition lost 300,000 votes:

"It is our responsibility to convince the Bulgarians that we are the people who will fulfill their priorities."

It is too early for this conversation, the ex-minister believes, regarding Boyko Borisov's call for a "gentlemen's agreement" after early voting. And he added that he needs to see who the participants are in the elections on October 27: "There is a real chance that DPS will not participate in the elections."

Gentlemen's agreement implies that words are covered by deeds, he added on the subject.

"I imagine the entire cabinet with people who have no party affiliation. This seems like the only formula that works."

'The breakdown of the "Peevski" model it's past. The fathers and grandfathers of the model are Boyko Borisov, Ahmed Dogan and Delyan Peevski. To me, Bulgaria looks like a thousand-year-old oak forest, in which arsonists and poachers ran amok, but subsequently new saplings appear. The forest will not be restored with arsonists, but only with reliable young people," Tsekov believes.
