The Central Election Commission (CEC) registers " BSP - United Left" for the elections.
"From my side and from the side of the colleagues, there was no fight or any kind of debate. We remained silent, the Sofia City Court (SGC) had to rule, then the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC). In a logical way, the CEC registered this new united coalition BSP and all left parties, which is so important for our country," said Borislav Gutsanov from the BSP in the program "The Day ON AIR".
TheBSP was torn by various internal scandals, he recalled.
"Let's look to the future. We're moving forward. The big meaning of "BSP - United Left" is to be able to oppose this further looting of the state, to have justice in Bulgaria. We owe it to all Bulgarians, to left-wing voters and to those people who want a different development. We are not at the bottom, but we are far below it", believes Gutsanov.
Are the lists of "BSP - United Left" in order?
"Regional councils are ending now, today are the last meetings. Talks with the coalition partners are ongoing. When everything is ready, there will be a meeting of the National Council. There was no leader of a political party who did not understand that currently unification is important for the development of Bulgaria. A large part of the colleagues say that they do not want to be on the lists, they are ready to give way to young people, but there should be another development of Bulgaria, he pointed out to Bulgaria ON AIR.
Gutsanov also commented on Boyko Borisov's words from today about a coalition with the participation of "There is such a people". (ITN) and BSP, except for the participants in the assembly.
"I wasn't surprised. Mr. Borisov does this before every single election. It's not the first time. Our decision of the Congress is extremely clear - we have a red line for gathering with the GERB party. Their vote today was yet another national betrayal of Bulgaria," he said.
Is an expert cabinet possible?
"We are talking about an expert office. One that will be made up of specialists, a cabinet that will protect several national and important priorities, so that Bulgaria can get out of the hole it has been in for 3 years. The priorities for us are health care, education, social tolerance for every Bulgarian family, energy and the economy. We will show people that we have overcome our own egos and want to change Bulgaria", Gutsanov concluded.
