The Central Election Commission will meet with the ministers involved in the organization and conduct of the elections on October 27, BNT reported.
Last week, the government sent proposals to the commission for the rules and procedures to ensure a well-organized and transparent machine vote. These include various suppliers of the voting machines and flash memory seals, as well as secure paper for the machine voting.
The CEC expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the proposals of the Council of Ministers were first publicly distributed and then presented to the commission. At today's meeting, the CEC is expected to again raise the question regarding the register of seals that are placed on the various compartments of the machines and the use of paper with additional protection when printing the machine ballot delivered by the BNB printing house.
