There are no politicians, there are no parties who can provide a vision for Bulgaria. In the next early parliamentary elections, there should again be a clear result that will lead us to a regular government. This was stated by former Finance Minister Simeon Dyankov to bTV.
In his words, what went wrong with the GERB mandate after the last elections is that the DPS split. Otherwise, GERB, DPS and ITN had a majority to form a regular government. To the surprise of at least some of us, the DPS split - whether it was on a pro-Russian line, this is perhaps the true reason for what happened, commented Dyankov.
According to him, it has an influence on Bulgarian political life. "Peevski remains Euro-Atlantic, and Ahmed Dogan is influenced by Russia," Simeon Dyankov was categorical.
He thinks that, in general, GERB are to blame for the fact that there is no government. Simeon Dyankov is of the opinion that Delyan Peevski's DPS-New Beginning will have better results than Jevdet Chakarov and Ahmed Dogan's Alliance for Rights and Freedoms.
