Dimitar Manolov: The price of imported electricity will jump sharply when we become dependent on it - 1

Bulgaria can lost nearly 2 billion euros under the PVA, warned Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova.

"Those who wrote the plan are to blame. Some group of citizens whose own political weight can't hold an electronic scale that weighs the atom wrote an idiotic plan. He is full of bullshit. It cannot be fulfilled, if it is - we will lose many times more than we will gain under this plan".

This was commented by the president of KT "Potkrepa" Dimitar Manolov in the studio of the show "The Day ON AIR".

He is adamant that it is better not to take these funds than to lose more.

"This exercise was done on purpose to mislead people, to create a smoke screen with the idea of taking some money, ruining the energy industry,", Manolov is convinced.

On the air of Bulgaria ON AIR, the president of KT "Support" commented on the tension in the National Assembly and the dissatisfaction of the energy workers.

"The narrative that was communicated to us contained no other possibility than that this money went to "Mini Maritsa-East". The people's representatives talked among themselves that the budget for next year, as it should be by law, with a capital program of BGN 0, has a 9% deficit. One of them shouts "what a Eurozone", they shout that they will kick us out", Manolov recreated the atmosphere of the tense meeting.

The guest expressed his position that when ESO and "Bulgartransgaz" are in BEH and BEH is taking measures to cover the deficits of TPP 2 - this can happen.

"However, when we take them out, in BEH these funds are gone, there remains one "Kozloduy". They have written in the plan that they will be taken out by these companies. The goal is not privatization, but that their monetary resources cannot support TPP 2," commented Dimitar Manolov.

He emphasized that TPP 2 is not in a bad financial condition because it worked in the summer, but no one knows how it will work in the winter.

"The TPP sends electricity to Ukraine, where there is a crisis. The TPP continues to pay the "fried wind tax", the so-called issues to please a group of people who make money," added Manolov.

He expects the price of imported electricity to skyrocket when we become dependent on it.
