There will be no surprises at the upcoming vote on October 27. This was stated in “Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov” the political scientist from “Trend” Dimitar Ganev. In his words, the electoral periphery – the voters who are not in the hard cores of the parties will not make a breakthrough and raise a formation that will surprise sociologists.
„This electoral periphery, which we have calculated over the years to consist of 1-1.5 million Bulgarians, no longer votes,” added Ganev. In the last elections, says the political scientist, 2,200,000 Bulgarians voted. These were the solid cores of the political formations in our country.
According to Dimitar Ganev, forming a cabinet within the framework of the 51st Parliament will not be an easy task.
„The motivating factor should be that the parties and their leaders must realize that if Bulgaria faces elections for the 8th time, it will create such tension that a political entity may emerge to change completely the picture”, the political scientist emphasized.
In his words, none of the formations expected to enter the next National Assembly will win the eighth election in a row.
Ganev also commented on the detention of the deputy candidate from the “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” Ceyhan Ibryamov.
According to him, the coalition will try to build an image of a repressed victim in order to awaken memories of the Revival process.
„They will try to awaken a form of ethnic solidarity”, he added.
