Specialized police operation to combat crime, protect public order, ensure road safety and prevent crimes related to the political rights of citizens was held today on the territory of the ODMVR - Pernik.
Forces of the Criminal, Economic, Security Police and employees of the "Gendarmerie" Directorate took part in the action.
Police actions were aimed at risky objects and persons who commit or have committed crimes, as well as those with the resources to possibly influence the vote of citizens. Massive checks were carried out under the Law on Civil Registration.
During the operation, commercial and entertainment establishments, fast credit companies, ferrous and non-ferrous metal points and numerous persons and vehicles were checked.
For complicity in already committed crimes and for possession of narcotic substances, five people were detained, and a 24-hour police measure was imposed on them. 2 pre-trial and 2 fast proceedings were established. 195 motor vehicles and 330 people were checked and 16 acts under the Civil Registration Act, 23 acts and 81 slips under the Road Traffic Act, 6 slips under the Bulgarian Personal Documents Act and 34 protocols under Art. 64 and 65 of the Law on the Interior, of which 9 are related to the electoral process. 37 people from the active criminal contingent were checked and prevented. Police officers inspected 9 pawnshops, 10 gatherings of criminal contingent, 23 commercial and entertainment establishments, 3 points for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and 2 car morgues. 12 bottles of alcohol with an expired label and numerous goods sold without the consent of the holder of the exclusive right were seized.
